Team Coaches/Managers
A reminder that all coaches and managers must be listed on the team list and a registered member to be able to have bench access and entry passes.
If teams want to add to any existing listed they can do so now.

Player/Coach/Manager Passes
As previously stated all competing players and staff will have free access to the event. Players and staff will need passes to gain access which will also act as an event souvenir. These will be available at the main door to the hall and will be issued to Team Manager/Coach as applicable. We invite all teams to arrive at least 40 minutes prior to first scheduled game. With teams ready to play 10 minutes prior to face-off.

Changing Rooms
Teams will be given specific changing rooms for games, with a separate female changing room.
Teams have access to changing rooms 30 minutes prior to face-off time and must vacate within 30 minutes following game conclusion. Bags and equipment must NOT be left in changing rooms following this, please store in the bag storage area, your accommodation room or your vehicle. Inline Hockey Ireland bears no responsibility to items left unattended in changing room or storage area. Please leave changing rooms in a clean and tidy state, using the bins provided.

Spectating
There is a very good spectating area and we encourage all teams to spectate and support as much games as possible to help create a brilliant atmosphere. While attending a global summit last year one phrase that stuck with me, ‘if we can’t get other players to watch games how can we expect the general public to want to watch’.

Drums and positive noise very much encouraged :)

Volunteers
We are still in need for a few more volunteers over the weekend to help make it as successful as possible, time slots to help out can be a short or as long as suited to individuals, we don not want parents to miss their own children playing. Please pass on to members and encourage to sign up here; https://forms.gle/XUxA33ANv7w9Lcvz7.

Tickets
For those that pre-bought tickets, these will either be delivered to you this week or available on the main door for collection.
Tickets will still be available to buy on the door but will be CASH/CHEQUE ONLY in either Euro or Sterling.

Stalls
As announced on Facebook there are a couple of merchandise/product stalls at the event; including official playoff programme, Crafty Cuts, RinkRat Wheels and hockey accessories. Some of these will be CASH/CHEQUE ONLY, some will take Euro or Sterling while others may be Euro only.

Playing Jerseys
There has been a few teams on occasion using non-matching jerseys; i.e. team plays in white, 90% have matching jersey, 1 or 2 players have random white jersey. Can we ask all teams to ensure they have matching jerseys for the weekend; borrow off other players in the club, etc. This is because we will producing a lot of media from the weekend and hope to have media outlets in attendance and non-matching uniforms makes us as a sport look quite unprofessional.

Playing Equipment
There has been a couple issues noted by referees with playing equipment in recent months:
  • Big holes in inline pants leading to equipment hanging out. Please have players repair or wear alternative pants.
  • Missing or inadequate chin strap. A chin strap in good repair is needed on all helmets to ensure player safety, there has been on occasion of helmets falling off with player luckily avoiding serious head injury. A lace or tape is not an adequate chin strap.
Awards
Team and individual awards will be presented following the final final game each day, so on Saturday following the U14 final and on Sunday following the Elite League final.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd medals, etc. for the playoffs and a number of individual awards at each age group/level.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

Looking forward to seeing you all at a fantastic weekend of hockey!
