The Womens National Team management team and the National Programme Coordinator met last week to discuss their attendance at the 2020 World Championships in light on the continuing Covid-19 situation. Unfortunately the unanimous decision was that it was in the best interest not to attend the 2020 event in Colombia. However, this is not a stop to the programme and instead the team will turn it's attention to the 2021 Roller Games in Argentina.

While it is hoped that society will be on route to normality by August it was felt there would be insufficient preparation time both in terms of training and fundraising. The management team hopes to see the continued commitment from all players as they now focus on 2021 with more preparation time.
